Hyderabad, April 22: A local court has given anticipatory bail to former minister Dr P Shankar Rao. The Nampally court today granted anticipatory bail to Congress leader Dr P Shankar Rao in the Greenfields land dispute case. His arrest by police had created a commotion earlier in this case. He alleged that police had man handled him and complained to higher authorities as well as the Speaker and an inquiry was ordered into the incident of his arrest. While police contended that Shankar Rao did not cooperate with the police in the investigation process, he said police had behaved rudely with him. He was immediately admitted to hospital and his family members moved the Sate Human Rights Commission as well. (INN) శంకరన్నకు ముందస్తు బెయిల్  హైదరాబాద్/ముంబై: మాజీ మంత్రి శంకర రావుకు ముందస్తు బెయిల్ లభించింది. గ్రీన్ ఫీల్డ్ భూవివాదం కేసులో శంకర రావుకు నాంపల్లి న్యాయస్థానం సోమవారం ముందస్తు బెయిల్‌ను మంజూరు చేసింది. గ్రీన్ ఫీల్డ్ వ్యవహారంలో శంకర రావు ఆరోపణలు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. గ్రీన్ ఫీల్డ్ భూముల వ్యవహారంలో కొద్ది నెలల క్రితం శంకర రావును ఇంటి నుండి తీసుకు వెళ్లిన అంశం వివాదమైన విషయం తెలిసిందే. విచారణ పేరుతో లుంగీ పైనే ఉన్న శంకర రావును పోలీసులు ఈడ్చుకుంటూ వెళ్లారని శంకర రావు, విచారణకు సహకరించకుంటే తీసుకు వచ్చామని, లుంగీ మార్చుకోమంటే అలాగే వస్తానని అతనే చెప్పారని పోలీసులు అప్పుడు చెప్పారు. అనంతరం ఆయనకు అనారోగ్యం ఆసుపత్రికి చేరుకున్నారు. ఆ తర్వాత డిశ్చార్జి అయ్యారు. గ్రీన్ ఫీల్డు వ్యవహారంలో శంకర రావుకు మద్దతిచ్చిన వారున్నారు. అలాగే వ్యతిరేకించిన వారు ఉన్నారు. తన తండ్రి ఎలాంటి తప్పు చేయలేదని శంకర రావు కూతురు సుస్మిత కూడా పలుమార్లు మీడియా ముందుకు వచ్చింది.
