Ex-Andhra Pradesh Minister's brother held in land grab case

Former Andhra Pradesh Minister and Congress MLA P Shankar Rao's brother P Dayanand was today arrested in connection with a land grabbing case.
Police said they arrested arrested Dayanand following a complaint lodged by one Janardhan Reddy, who accused him of attempting to grab his plot measuring 163 sq yards at Gemini Colony here after taking it on lease.
"The complainant claimed Dayanand tried to encroach upon his plot, which according to him, has a market value of Rs 60 lakh," Musheerabad Inspector Shyamsunder said.
The former Minister's brother was produced before a local court, which sent him in 14-day judicial remand.
Dayanand is also an accused in the Greenfields land grab case, along with his brother Rao and others.
CID investigation disclosed that Rao had abused his position as an MLA to "grab" 70 acres of land by allegedly duping the owners of housing plots in Greenfields locality.
The MLA from Secunderabad Cantonment was arrested last month in connection with a dowry harassment case lodged against him by his daughter-in-law Vamsi Priya.
The ruling party legislator was subsequently released after Vamsi Priya withdrew the case.

అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. రామ్ నగర్ లోని జెమినీకాలనీలో దయానంద్ భూకబ్జాకు
పాల్పడినట్లు ఆరోపణలు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారు. ఇదిలా ఉండగా గ్రీన్ఫీల్డ్
భూకబ్జా వ్యవహరానికి సంబంధించి శంకర్రావుతో పాటు దయానంద్ కూడా ఆరోపణలు
ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారు. రంగారెడ్డి జిల్లా ఆల్వాల్ మండలంలోని కానాజీగూడాలో
గ్రీన్ఫీల్డ్ హౌసింగ్ సొసైటీలో మాజీ మంత్రి, కంటోన్మెంట్ ఎమ్మెల్యే
శంకర్రావు, ఆయన సోదరుడు నకిలీ డాక్యుమెంట్లు సృష్టించి దాదాపు 75 ఎకరాల
భూమిని కబ్జాచేసేందుకుయత్నించారంటూ ఆరోపణలు వచ్చాయి.
దీనిపై హై కోర్టులో దాఖలైన కేసును విచారించిన అనంతరం శంకర్రావు, ఆయన సోదరుడు దయానంద్తో పాటు మరికొంతమందిపై కేసులు నమోదు చేయా ల్సిందిగా కోర్టు ఆదేశించింది. ఆమేరకు గత ఏడాది లో సైబరాబాద్ పరిధిలోని నేరేడ్మెట్ పోలీసులు శంకర్రావు, ఆయన సోదరుడు,మరికొంతమందిపై సెక్షన్ 120బి,420,367,468,506 ప్రకారం క్రిమినల్ కేసులు నమోదు చేశారు. దీనిని సవాల్ చేస్తూ శంకర్రావు సోదరుడు కోర్టుకు వెళ్లడంతో కేసు విచారణపై స్టే విధించింది.

Hyderabad: Musheerabad police finally acted on a land encroachment case registered against the Secunderabad Cantonment MLA P Shankar Rao’s brother P Dayanand and arrested him on Monday.
In 2012, one Janardhan Reddy from Musheerabad had lodged a complaint against Dayanand, alleging that the latter had encroached upon his 163-square yard land located at Gemini Colony in Ram Nagar. Based on the evidence available, police then registered a case against Dayanand under sections 120-B (Criminal conspiracy), 406 (Criminal breach of trust), 420 (Cheating), 506 (Criminal intimidation), 509 (Outraging modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
During the course of investigation, police had found that Janardhan Reddy had given the land to Dayanand on lease for a period of 10 years on which the latter had opened the office of Vishwashanti Press. “During the lease period, we observed that Dayanand had obtained a fake municipal number for the property in his name. Also, electricity bill for the property was being issued in his family member’s name. After gathering all evidence, we arrested Dayanand from his residence at Musheerabad on Monday. Later, he was remanded in judicial custody,” Musheerabad inspector G Shyamsundar said.

Cantonment MLA P Shankar Rao’s brother P Dayanand was on Monday arrested for trespassing into a private land and produced him before the court. The court sent him to judicial remand.
Musheerabad
inspector Shyam Sunder said they arrested Dayanand following a
complaint lodged by one Janardhan Reddy, who accused him of attempting
to grab his plot measuring 163 sq yards at Gemininagar here after taking
it on lease.
The
police said Dayanand took the land belonging to Janardhan Reddy on
rent for running a printing press. However, Dayanand did not set up any
press on the premises and he has been occupying the land for the last 10
years, police said.
A
few months ago, Janardhan Reddy told Dayanand that he wants to sell the
land. Dayanand promised him to purchase the land and sought some time
to pay the amount. Even after six months have passed, Dayanand did not
purchase the land.
“When
Reddy asked Dayanand to buy the land if he is interested or vacate the
place, the latter tried to grab the land,’’ police said.
Based on a complaint by Reddy, police registered cases under Section 406
( criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 417 (Punishment for
cheating), 506 (Criminal Intimidation), 509 (Word, gesture or act
intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 120 (B) (Punishment of
criminal conspiracy) and 156 (Liability of agent of owner or occupier
for whose benefit riot is committed) of the IPC and arrested Dayanand.
Dayanand is also an accused in the Greenfields land grab case, along with his brother Shankar Rao and others.

తన కూతురు పెళ్లి నిమిత్తం ఈ స్థలాన్ని అమ్ముతున్నామని, వెంటనే ఖాళీ చేయాలని దయానంద్ను కోరగా ఆరునెలల సమయం అడిగాడు. ఆ తర్వాత ఖాళీ చేశారు. అనంతరం రాధ, అరుణ అనే మరో మహిళకు విక్రయించింది. ఈ సమయంలో రాత్రికిరాత్రి దయానంద్ తాళాలు పగులగొట్టి స్థల యజమానురాలును అట్రాసిటీ కేసు పెడ్తానని బెదిరించి స్థలాన్ని ఆక్రమించాడు.
అంతేకాకుండా తనకు రూ.5 లక్షలివ్వాలని బెదిరించి కోర్టులో సివిల్ కేసును రాధ,ఆమె అన్న జనార్దన్రెడ్డిల మీద దాఖలు చేశారు. ఇంతటితో ఆగకుండా నకిలీ డాక్యుమెంట్ను సృష్టించారు. మొత్తం ఈ వ్యవహారంపై రాధ,ఆమె అన్న జనార్దన్రెడ్డిలు సివిల్ కేసుతో పాటు క్రిమినల్ కేసును నాంపల్లి కోర్టులో దాఖలు చేశారు. కోర్టు ఆదేశాల మేరకు దయానంద్ను పోలీసులు అరెస్టు చేశారు.

సృష్టించి దాదాపు 75 ఎకరాల భూమిని కబ్జాచేసేందుకు యత్నించారంటూ ఆరోపణలు
వచ్చాయి.
