What happened to ‘Sonaiyamma’ statue??

He said that he would sculpt a statue of Sonia Gandhi and demanded that government should allocate some land for it. “If the government refuses, I will keep the statue in my own private crop field,” he said. He ordered for the statue in Vijayawada. He and his family even visited to check upon the updates of sculpture.

However, that was all before the elections. The list of MLA’s and MP’s was announced, in that Sankaranna’s name was nowhere to be seen on the list. This made Shankaranna to rethink his priorities and the statue of Sonia in his own land seems to be forgotten. Let us see if he can get his memory back before the next elections.
