Cops nab six for creating fake SC order

Six persons who created a fake SC order were arrested by the Hyderabad police on Thursday after the issue was brought to the notice of local police by the registrar of the apex court.Mahankali police said one Indira gave a mulgi (shop) on rent to Narsing Rao and his son Srisailam. After some time, Narsing Rao sub-let the premises to an Agarwal family of five brothers without the knowledge of the property owner. The Agarwal family has been selling saris at the premises. The property owner moved an eviction petition in lower court and got a favourable order, which was upheld by high court and SC.
Mahankali inspector K Satyanarayana said Indira got an envelope containing the SC interim order copy in 2005.
“Through her advocate, Indira approached the SC and questioned how interim stay order was given. The court found that the order was was fake and the Registrar General of SC directed the government to probe the matter,'' the inspector said. The fake order, dated March 21, 2005, was issued on a public holiday, Holi.
A case was registered in 2007. Srisilam, Ratanlal Agarwal, Devakinandan Agarwal, Sham Sunder Agarwal, Guru Govind Agarwal and Gopichand Agarwal were arrested under section 420 (cheating), 468 (forgery for the purpose of cheating), 471 (using a forged document) of the IPC.
